UPI Semiconductor today announced the launch of the TCP8250, a highly integrated 1-cell lithium-ion/lithium-polymer battery protection integrated circuit (IC) designed to provide precise over-charge, over-discharge, and over-current protection with exceptionally low quiescent power consumption. Optimized for compact and portable devices, the TCP8250 enhances battery safety, extends cell lifetime, and supports reliable operation in both consumer and industrial applications.


Equipped with high-accuracy detection circuits, ultra-low leakage design, and optional 0V charging capability, the TCP8250 is ideal for next-generation wearable devices, true wireless earphones, portable IoT sensors, and battery-powered accessories that require stringent safety and extended standby performance.
