The VC5778-31M from Vanchip is an integrated front-end module (FEM) specifically designed for Wi-Fi 6 and 6E (802.11ax) systems. Its compact size and integrated matching minimize layout area in applications. The performance is focused on optimizing the PA for a 3.85V supply voltage to save power consumption while maintaining maximum linear output power and cutting-edge throughput. This is achieved over a wide bandwidth, enabling instant operation across all channels in UNII5-8 (5.1 - 7.1 GHz) without any logic switching.
VC5778-31M significantly enhances the throughput and coverage for high-bandwidth applications such as 8K video streaming, online gaming, and virtual reality. WiFi 6E is an extension of WiFi 6, supporting not only the traditional 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands but also the newly opened 6GHz band. WiFi 6E offers three times the capacity of standard WiFi, supporting contiguous spectrum that can accommodate seven additional 160MHz channels or fourteen additional 80MHz channels. It unlocks the full potential of this new band, delivering leading linearity performance at the allowable indoor peak power levels to maximize throughput and capacity. It features a compact package that is 25% more efficient than current solutions.
